A77 - Telescopic Handler 360 Slew Training (Roto)
The CPCS A77 Telehandler 360 Slew course is designed to give operators the essential knowledge, understanding and practical skills needed to safely and confidently operate a 360° slew telehandler in a construction environment. Throughout the course, delegates will learn how to carry out thorough pre-use inspections, identify potential hazards, and follow correct operating procedures to ensure the machine is used safely and efficiently at all times. Training also covers safe lifting operations, effective load handling, machine stability, manoeuvring techniques and the importance of maintaining full control of the telehandler while working on site. In addition, delegates will gain a clear understanding of current health and safety legislation, site rules and best practice guidance, helping them to work responsibly and competently in line with industry standards. By the end of the course, operators will be better prepared to carry out their duties safely, reduce the risk of accidents and contribute to a safer working environment on construction sites.
Pre-course Requirements
Delegates must have passed the appropriate HS&E test within the last two years prior to attending this course

Course Completion
Successful candidates will receive a CPCS Red Trained Operators card which is valid for two years.
Please note – candidates who have held a red trained operator’s card previously must advise upon booking as additional requirements may be requested by CPCS in order to regain this licence type.
Upgrade/Renewing your CPCS red Trained Operators Card
Candidates are required to complete the appropriate competency NVQ prior to your cards expiry in order to upgrade/renew the red trained operator’s licence.

We recommend you look to upgrade/renew your Trained Operator licence 4 months before your licence is due to expire.
