This course covers all aspects of working at height theory.
The Working at Height Regulations are covered, along with many different types of equipment used.
Who is the course for?
Anyone working at height in any context. e.g. on site, at home, in manufacturing etc.
Course content includes:
- Overview of the Working at Height Regulations
- Accident statistics
- Definition of Work at Height
- Risk assessment and hierarchy of measures
- Organization & planning
- Selection of appropriate equipment
- Requirements to use of ladders and stepladders
- Requirements to use of mobile towers
- Requirements to use of harnesses
- Safety rails
- Inspection of equipment
- Emergency procedures
This course is a theory only training session. If you require specific training for certain access equipment like mobile platforms, mobile towers or ladders etc we run accredited courses that include practical training on a wide range of access equipment.
Completion of the course:
Delegates will take a short written test. Successful delegates will receive a training certificate and photo ID card.
