This programme doesn’t just refresh existing knowledge, it takes understanding further, with a strong focus on leadership skills and building a positive health and safety culture. It is designed to refresh managers’ and supervisors’ awareness of their responsibilities for workplace safety and health, while showing how an effective safety management system can influence, control, and monitor risks to drive improvements.

 The course also includes decision-making simulations, giving managers the chance to practise handling real-life scenarios and see first-hand how theirc hoices can affect both performance and organisational culture.

Course assessment:

The IOSH Managing Safely® Refresher consists of one online multi-choice examination consisting of 21 interactive questions and the pass mark is 62.5% with two attempts to pass. Retakes, if needed, are included.
