Harness and Lanyard Awareness Training

This course covers the safe selection, fitting, and inspection of harnesses and lanyards, helping ensure compliance with the Work at Height Regulations 2005.

About this course

This course provides comprehensive guidance on safely using harnesses and lanyards. It covers the legal requirements, differences between restraint and arrest systems, and how to properly select, use, and maintain the equipment. Learners will also be trained on pre-use checks, correctly donning body harnesses, using lanyards effectively, and conducting inspections and maintenance to ensure ongoing safety.
