This course covers the dangers of hand/arm vibration when using powered equipment, enabling delegates to comply with legal requirements.
 

Who is the course for?
Any employees using powered tools and equipment, or anyone responsible for the welfare of these employees.

Course content includes:

  • Employer's and employee’s legal responsibilities
  • Hazards arising - vibration white finger
  • Signs & symptoms
  • Clinical assessment
  • Tests and measurement of vibration
  • Exposure in the workplace
  • Control of vibration
  • Precautions
  • Health monitoring

 

Completion of the course:

Delegates will take a short written test, and receive a course handout summarizing the topics covered. Delegates will receive a training certificate and photo ID card.
