Course Overview

Midland Plant Training and Testing Ltd are an accredited CPCS and NPORS plant test centre, offering not only the initial courses required to join the schemes but the qualifications required to upgrade your licences.

The NVQ assessment is a mandatory requirement to upgrade from the trained operator licence for both CPCS and NPORS.

The NVQ is required to verify the individuals experience and underpinning knowledge obtained throughout their operational experience on site, this is to ensure that the individual is still safe and competent.

Pre Course Requirements

Candidates must have passed the appropriate HS&E test pass within the last two years and have a current CPCS / NPORS licence still eligible for upgrade.

Course Content

There are three steps in completing the qualification criteria;

1. Witness testimony from current/previous employer
2. Professional discussion between the candidate and assessor surrounding the candidates operational experience, knowledge and skills obtained.
3. Practical observation/assessment.

• £630+ vat

Course Completion

Once MPTT are in receipt of certification we will process the application of the CPCS/NPORS upgrade licence.
