NPORS N104 Overhead Crane Novice course
The NPORS N104 Overhead Crane course provides delegates with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to safely and confidently operate an overhead crane in a variety of working environments. This training is designed to develop a clear understanding of crane controls, lifting procedures, load handling, signalling and the importance of maintaining safe working practices at all times. Delegates will also learn how to carry out thorough pre-use inspections, identify potential hazards, assess lifting equipment and follow correct operating procedures to reduce the risk of accidents and equipment damage.
The course also covers relevant health and safety legislation, industry best practice and the responsibilities of the operator when working with overhead cranes. By the end of the training, delegates will have a stronger awareness of safe lifting operations, improved practical competence and the confidence needed to work efficiently and responsibly in line with NPORS standards.
